Privacy notice
What Speedworks collects on this site, why, who sees it and how to reach us about it. Your name, number and plate never go on a public page.

01Who we are
Speedworks Engineering, Mindanao Ave, Quezon City, runs speedworksengtuned.com and is responsible for the personal data collected through it.
For anything about your data, message Speedworks on Facebook or ask at the shop. We reply within 15 working days.
02What we collect and why
We only ask for what we need to do the job. Here is each place the site collects something.
- Booking a run. Your name, mobile number, plate, car, the service, tuner and time you picked, and, if you add them, your email and notes. We use these to hold your slot, get ready for the car and contact you about the booking. Your email is only used to send a copy of your ticket and updates on that booking.
- Joining the waitlist. Your name, mobile number and email, and, if you add them, your car, plate and what you want done. We use these to invite you when booking opens and to talk to you about your car.
- Check a car. The plate you type. We use it to run the search and show the build record if Speedworks tuned that car. We don't save the plate against you.
- My bookings. The plate and mobile number you type, only to find your booking so you can change or cancel it.
- The public index. If you tick "Put this build on the public index", the car, its mods, photos and dyno numbers can go on the site after the run. Your name, mobile number and plate never appear on a public page.
- Visit counting, only if you say OK. Which page was opened (with plates and booking links removed first), the site you came from, your country and the kind of device. This uses Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't follow you to other sites.
- Keeping the site safe. To stop spam and abuse, the server briefly holds your IP address in memory to limit how many bookings or lookups come from one place. Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs for a short time.
03Why we are allowed to use it
- Bookings: you asked us for a service, and we need these details to give it to you.
- Waitlist, public index and visit counting: your consent. You can take it back at any time, and that doesn't undo anything we did before.
- Safety logs and limits: our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and free of abuse.
05How long we keep it
- Bookings and build records: for as long as you are a customer, and up to 5 years after your last booking for shop and tax records.
- Waitlist sign-ups: until we invite you to book, and no longer than 12 months after you signed up unless you book.
- Booking emails: the delivery record of each email, for up to 12 months.
- Visit counts: kept as totals. They are never tied to your name, number or plate.
06Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to:
- know what we collect and why (this page)
- get a copy of the data we hold about you
- have wrong details corrected
- object to how we use it, or take back your consent
- have it deleted or blocked when we no longer have a reason to keep it
- get it in a format you can take elsewhere
- be paid damages if we misuse it
- complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph
To use any of these, message Speedworks on Facebook or ask at the shop, and give the name and mobile number you used with us so we can find your records. To change or cancel a booking yourself, use My bookings. If you want your build taken off the public index, tell us and we will take it down.
08How we keep it safe
The site only works over encrypted connections. Booking and customer records can only be read by Speedworks staff, and public pages are built from records that leave the owner out.
If a breach puts your data at real risk, we will tell you and the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours of finding out, as the law requires.
09Changes to this notice
When we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top. If the change is big, we will say so on the site before it applies.
